Biology here starts small and works outwards. The opening lessons ask what cells are made of and how they divide, using the light microscope and plant and animal cells set side by side. From there the lessons move through photosynthesis and plant growth, then out into habitats, ocean ecosystems and food chains, before turning inwards again to the human body — the heart, the nervous and digestive systems, muscles and hormones — and finishing with pathogens, microorganisms and natural selection.
Every lesson below is free, reads properly on a phone or a classroom projector, and comes with diagrams, interactive activities or printable worksheets you can use for revision, homework or a lesson starter.
